Ba Review #226
Served On: 09/26/2012
Glassware: Rolling Rock Pilsner Glass
Labeled ABV: 5.6%
Date/ Code: 2012 Release
Found this at Ye Olde Spirits Shop on 7th St. in Frederick, MD. From the 2012 Best of Beer Camp mixed 12 pack.
Look: Super clear pale yellow. Carbonation level was expectedly high. 1/2 - dinger of white rocky head. Very macro-lagerish appearance.
Smell: Lemon citrus aroma with some wet grass and cardboard. Also some fresh apple skin from the produce isle.
Taste: Hoppy citrus note at first. Then a sweet middle with some biscuit. The finish was fairly dry with the citrus returning along with a bitterness.
This one offered a very light palate, but still kept my interest. The citrus quality seemed to be the main theme of the brew. I can’t say I’m a huge pilsner fan, but this was not too bad. Very reminiscent of Victory's Prima Pills.

A- Clear golden yellow body and a white foam cap of head. Constant stream of bubbles.
A- Clean malt light grassy hops.
T- Grainy sweet malt with a light bitterness that comes through more and sticks around in the finish. Not much in the way of hop flavor.
M- Medium body and smooth with an appropriate level of carbonation.
D- It's not bad, but there are better pilsners out there.
