On tap at By the Bottle, Vancouver WA
Pours a deep mahogany color with a thin tan head that disappears quickly.
Smells of caramel and dried fruits. hints of honey and spices as well.
Tastes quite like it smells. Sweet malts, light fruitiness and some yeast. Spices make a small appearance, but don't really add anything.
Goes down smooth, with decent carbonation. Not much body, but still good.
Overall a good beer, and a decent dubbel. Not my favorite of the style, and definitely not the most complex beer ever. But tasty? Yeah. Solid beer, just nothing special.
Serving type: on-tap
