Shared a 750ml bottle poured into tulip glasses
A: color was a cloudy amber, not much head w/no lacing, very carbonated but the carbonation did not produce much head, lots of little bubbles.
S: it had a caramel sweet smell, nothing strong
T: decent example of a Belgian style dubbel, caramel notes, tasted dates or raisins, hops on the back end but well balanced and not a hoppy beer.
M: just fine, not thick, the carbonation subsided after awhile, pleasant drinking beer.
Overall: not a bad beer, I enjoyed it and will probably buy it again at some point. I enjoy Belgians and Belgian styles, this did not banana notes, but more caramel and raisins. A bit sweet but not overly.
