Got a sweet deal on a Brew Camp case from a buddy of mine.
Poured out a lightly hazy deep golden hue with a small amount of head that leaves a big ring around the glass. The nose has a quick bready, faintly caramel note, but is then taken over by a hay and a subtle citrus. The flavor is a large amount of bready malt but then quickly switches to a full grassy flavor. The transition between flavors is really cool. After the grass comes a herbal citrus finish that creeps up on you. My taste buds weren't expecting the hoppy bitter finish that drys out after about 20seconds. Solid beer with a lot of subtle flavor characteristics for a double IPA.
