Poured out of 12oz bottle into pint glass.
A) It's a pleasant looking orange, with a nice inch of white head that has a little bit of an orange tint. The head was long lasting and there was nice lacing.
S) I anticipated a little more hop presence. I pick up a bit of yeast and malt. There is a very nice sweet fruit aroma.
T) Decent upfront, and certainly you expect the bitterness, but there is something that just isn't settling for me with the finish on this one.
M) Hmm.... Medium to a light medium body. The carbonation is good. There is just something about the finish that is uncomfortable on my palate.
O) This is a decent double IPA, but not great. There are certainly others I prefer. I mean, I'm not complaining, I'll gladly drink the rest of them.
