Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a New Belgium globe.
Pours a hazy orange-caramel with orange highlights and a 2 finger fluffy off-white head. Excellent head retention and nearly perfect lacing.
Smell: Pine dominates with orange and lemon in the background. Smells like a Christmas tree lot.
Taste: Pine and bitter lemon zest up front followed by orange, pineapple and a little bit of malt in the middle before ending with another blast of hoppy bitterness and just a touch of cedar at the finish. Aftertaste is bitter and long-lasting.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a high amount of carbonation. Goes down smooth.
Drinkability: Very high drinkability. You could drink a couple before the alcohol sneaks up on you.
Overall: Very good beer overall. This is a hop bomb that I will highly recommend to hopheads like myself. If you can still find it, give it a shot.
