A: Pours a dark straw color with a billowing, foamy head. A thick froth sustains with vigor.
S: Big, fruity smell: citrus, lemongrass, mango.
T: Quite sweet up front with a balancing bitterness in tow. Malty for the style with a hop melange of citrus and herbaceous characters. A bit of bite in the end.
M: Full-bodied with moderate-high carbonation. A lingering bitterness.
D: Not the best DIPA I've had, but it seems to stand out from the rest with a uniqueness that I can't quite put my finger on (NZ hops?). Recommended.
