Bottle was part of the SN Best of Beer Camp variety case.
Enjoyed in a DFH Pint Glass
A - Pours a deep golden color. A very dense, three finger head on the initial pour. Fair amount of lacing left on the glass.
S - A slightly malty, sweet smell. Not overly aromatic.
T - A very refreshing beer. For a beer that is very malty, it isn't a beer you need to sip. A nice background of sweetness (almost like honey) combines with a nice hoppiness to make a beer that is really well balanced. The alcohol is barely noticeable.
M - A good amount of carbonation.
O - A really enjoyed this beer. I had this after a 3-mile run in 85+ degree heat and this beer was a perfect way to wind down. Not heavy at all, this is a beer that you could drink quite a few of. I'm looking forward to enjoying the remaining bottles in the case. Recommended.
