I poured this 12 oz. bottle into a large-bowled wine glass. Part of the 2011 Beer Camp series.
A: sparkling clear honey gold color, the fizzy head quickly vanishes into a good cap with good lacing. Tantalizing.
S: roasted corn, whole-grain bread, dried apples, a hint of apricot?, banana bread, herbal/tea leaf hops.
T: whole-grain toast, plenty of vanilla/oak, the middle has lots of dried apple/banana/apricot and the beginnings of a tea leaf/herbal hop bitterness, the finish is dry, with a pleasant tea leaf/grassy astringency.
M: medium-bodied, silky texture, plentiful carbonation.
O: another tasty beverage from Sierra Nevada. Get your hands on some if you still can.
