Bottle into Sam Adams lager glass.
Pours a crystal clear gold with just a bit of a coppery hint, and a thin white head that fades fairly quickly to nothing. Nice effervescence, with bubbles constantly trailing to the surface.
Nose is a bit fruity, light caramel, grainy malt is a bit on the pungent side.
Taste is grainy, sweet caramel, a bit bready, with a grassy hop character, more of the pungency exhibited in the nose, and some light citrus as well, though not dominant.
Mouthfeel is a bit on the full-bodied side of medium, nice, balanced carbonation that exhibits the perfect amount of soft zing, just a bit sticky.
Overall, a really nice beer. The more I drink this one, the more it grows on me. Certainly seems to have a bit of a German flair as far as I'm concerned, but with just enough CC identity to really keep things fun. Another nice one.
