Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A) A light copper color, with an inch of thin white head. The head was gone pretty quickly, but a nice little cap remained for the duration.
S) Grains and sweet malt, kind of a corn bread sweetness. There is some hop aroma.
T) Initially a malt and bread sweetness. There is some bitterness from the hops in the finish. The ABV is listed as 6.5%, but this beer seemed to be packing more of a booze kick, based on my taste buds.
M) Drinking it cold gave me the impression it was a light bodied beer, but as it warmed to room temperature it was definitely a bit heavier. It felt a little oily and sticky on the teeth and gums.
O) This was nice after a long day at the office, and the positives outweight the negatives. In the end, it's good, not great.
