Hard-poured into a New Belgium tulip.
A: Deep, clear gold beer with lackadaisical bubbles. Eggshell white head that lacks retention and leaves little lacing behind.
S: Light caramel, toasted and grainy malts, with some citrus (lemon) and woody hop notes. Multi-grain characteristics seem to be in charge.
T: Touch of light sweetness kicks off taste, followed by big grainy malts, some toast and a bit of caramel. The lemony and woody hop notes are present, too, but once the bitterness asserts itself, and it does, they take on more of a grassy quality.
M: Medium-bodied with medium carbonation. A little drying.
D: Damned drinkable. SN Beer Camp is an attractive beer that is quite quaffable.
