Probably the most unassuming of the beer camp beers, and possibly the best... this is a slightly higher-than-usual Cali Common, and a good one at that.
This here is a fine looking brew, yellow-gold with a finger tall, no lace head that never quite dies out. Mildly estery nose, crisp and American-clean yeast, has that unassuming, balanced and unique Steam beer thang going for it...
Flavor is generally semi-sweet malts, some bitter hops used to good effect, and a clean, damp yeast resulting in some low fruit notes - orange, apple perhaps. Easy to drink, charming, moreish. A real good example of the beer and tasty to boot. Nicely done, SN.
