Had this on draft a few years back; from my notes:
Pitch black appearance; no light passes.
Dark khaki head which dissipates but doesn't disappear; decent lacing.
Coffee and chocolate malt nose.
Thick mouthfeel; a touch chalky.
Dark, bitter chocolate flavor; surprisingly drinkable. A solid brew.

A lot of dark brown and black going on, just under an inch of beige/brown head here. Aroma was deft with hops and chocolate malt smells.
Taste, just keeps poppin those hops and chocolate tones. Its big, but not overly done. Take the original stout, amp it up, use oats to smooth it out, and this is what you get. Another winner.

2012.
Dark chocolate, roast malt, a touch of coffee grounds, and dark cherries form the aroma.
Flavor reveals more of that slightly tart cherry character upfront, with a hint of phenol, followed by moderately rich chocolate notes, finishing roasty and a touch charred.

A: Black with a slight light brown head.
S: Oatmeal, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the nose.
T: Nice pleasant bitterness, medium and dark roast coffees, roasted malt and dark chocolate.
M: Medium-full bodied, and creamy smooth.
O: Very typical of the oatmeal stout style. Definitely recommended if you can find it. I personally had it on tap at the brewery.
