Beer was part of the latest Sierra Nevada Beer Camp variety pack.
Poured and sampled from a DFH Signature Glass
A - The beer pours a deep amber, reddish color. A one finger, beige colored head on the initial pour that fades to a light skim. Decent lacing left after sampling.
S - A mixture of malts, pine and grapefruit. Very inviting.
T - A really nice mixture of roasted yet sweet malts combined with slightly bitter hops and a resiny pineiness. There is a caramel-like sweetness to the beer along with what seems to be dark fruits (figs?) The ABV isn't noticeable at first but does peak through after the beer sits for a bit.
M - Medium consistency with good carbonation.
O - Of all the beers in the Beer Camp case, this is probably my favorite. A nice, easy drinking beer that does a lot of things right in the taste department. I really enjoyed this beer and would recommend giving it a try if you can.
