12oz bottle from 12-pack Beer Camp series. Bottle dated 6/27/2012. Free SN bottom etched glass with purchase (hope it's not the best part of this deal).
Ruby-red, clear elixir poured into imperial pint glass. Tan, thick head, settles to 3mm rim. Minimal lacing.
Large malt presence, hops, caramel, brown sugar.
The hops from the base dipa are blended nicely with the malt. Smooth bitterness then a malty aftertaste.
Medium to light body, not much carbonation, thin.
This is a nice amber with a combination of hops and malt and the alcohol well hidden. Well done SN.
