Poured a clear, dark amber almost brown color with a 3 finger rocky head and a nice amount of lacing on the glass.
Aroma was not too strong, a little citrus from the hops mixed with roasted malts.
The taste is very smooth, I really enjoyed the flavor. Hop bitterness quickly followed by roasted malts and finishing with a strong, sweet dose of malt. Big flavors that came together very well.
Mouthfeel was medium and the carbonation was spot on. It was smooth and slick.
Overall I really like this beer. The hops mixed well with the roasted malts, reminiscent of DFH's Indian Brown Ale but with a little more sweetness.
