Poured from the 12oz bottle from their sampler pack...
Appearance - Pours a solid 2 fingers of lite golden foam, body is a slightly opaque warm lite orange amber, leaves sudsy lacing, a vey nice looking ipa.
Smell - Huge floral hops smell, flower petals, pollen, clover, lavender, citrus, grapefruit pith, a touch of tropical fruit, and a slight sweetness like smelling fresh honey comb.
Taste - Really big floral hops right up front, rosewater, lavender, meadowy hops and assorted flower petals. Right there are really nice and somewhat dry bready malts, Im also getting a touch of tropical fruit at the very center, like mango and papaya, but not sweet, more of an essence. The finish dries very nicely to dried flowers and grapefruit pith.
Mouthfeel - This beer is the lighter side of medium with a medium nearly foaming carb that develops a few edges at the sides of the tongue. Otherwise the beer is very smooth and infinitely drinkable.
Overall - Probably the most floral ipa I've ever had, very interesting, and maybe just a bit one sided, but can't be faulted - it is called Floral IPA - still a very flavorful and satisfying ipa. If you like floral hops you're really going to enjoy this one.
