12oz Bottle from Bear World Watertown NY for 3$
Appearance – Hazy dark copper colour with a large size frothy and fizzy off-white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation and there is some great lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Malts, hops, caramel, grapefruit, herbal/floral notes
Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts, caramel, and hops. There is also some grapefruit and oranges mixed herbal/floral notes. It has a lingering floral/citrus zest like pungency on the palate. It ends with a sweet fruity aftertaste with lingering floral/citrus zest/hop bitterness.
Overall – An interesting beer that is well worth trying. Doesn't strike me as a English IPA; it has shakes of their pale ale and torpedo but with the added floral/perfume notes. It's a very good beer that I would gladly drink again, rarely does sierna nevada disappoint me.
