From the latest Beer Camp series.
A -- Pours a clear, deep orange to peach color with a dense, light tan head that holds up throughout the duration. Subsequent pours from the bottle yield some torpedoed floaters from the hops and rose petals.
S -- Piny and spicy hops up front, vaguest floweriness in the follow-through.
T -- Spicy hops up front with a good Marris Otter-style malt backbone. There's a definite floral character to the flavor, but it blends well with piny and spicy hops and compliments the good bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.
M -- Smooth and silky mouthfeel with a medium body and crisp finish.
O -- A very nice IPA that comes off a little less bold, but no less characterful and hoppy than some others. I think the slightly lower ABV allows the characters of hops and malts to stand out without being overpowered by higher alcohol.
