12oz bottle picked up at Bier Thirty on Sunday... enjoyed tonight from my slip tulip..
Short lasting white head leaves behind a nice drape of lacing... the brew is an oddly hazed golden... there are thousands of tiny particulate spots in the brew... a colloidal suspension.. they are not going anywhere..
Then nose shows a lot of very floral hoppiness.. Not getting much from the roses, but I probably don't know what I am looking for.
Flavor is a very nice standard floral IPA... crisp hoppiness that leaves no room for question.. very floral and lingers forever.. nicely dry and what little residual malt allows the hops to flourish.
Body is a little light for an IPA... but that adds to the drinkability.. If this one was a year rounder, I would buy it WAY more than Torpedo or SNPA..

Bottle poured into a standard pint glass, the Floral IPA shows a clear medium gold in color with a robust off white inch high cap of foam. A steady boil emanates from the base to assist with some lengthy retention and sticky lace.
Aroma is spicy/floral with a peppery hibiscus layer sitting atop a light citrus backbone, more orange than lemon in that regard. Unique yet pleasant and intriguing.
Taste has a spicy and herbal bitterness which carries through to offer a nice body and feel. Overall a solid offering with a somewhat light yet full body and a unique delivery.

12oz bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy goldish orange with a half inch of head. Some lacing. Aroma is floral as advertised but there is some citrus hop notes as well. Some grains. Taste is, not surprisingly, floral hops. Some malt flavor, but the flowery hops are the main attraction. Floral finish with a fair amount of bitterness. Light mouthfeel and lower ABV would make this pretty drinkable, but I feel that the flowery taste would slow things down. Overall, floral and tasty and a decent IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy unfiltered gold color with a thick white head that leaves rings of lacing down the glass. a very nice hop trio of citrus, pine, and floral hop aroma. Heavy on the floral side. Definitely some rose oil in there. On first taste there is a strong citrus and pine hop flavor that gives way to a toasted malt, fruity ester and bitter floral hop flavor in the finish. Feel is a bit acidic and bitter in the finish. Body is light, almost thin from a low amount of carbonation. It is unique in the floral sense, and has more floral and fruit notes as it warms.

#BOTG 113! another new beer camp beer. I'll try my best to not use the description of "floral" in this review. Poured from bottle into NB tulip. Pours a semi cloudy sunset orange color. Just a little head, not much. Smell- orange peel citrus, tangerine, a little potpourri (see? I didnt say floral). Taste- astringent, assertive bitterness. Citrus tangy blast, hop oils coat the roof of my mouth. Lacks balance in the malt arena, not too surprised for the abv- there just isnt much backbone. Just a tiny bit of sweetness, but not nearly enough to make it a well balanced beer. But, I'm a hophead and I enjoy the assault of bitterness here. Mouthfeel is a little thin, probably a symptom of the backbone problem. A decent beer overall, but not my favorite IPA version.

Poured into a pint glass. This one pours a clear honey color with about an inch of frothy white head.
Mellow hoppy aroma with floral hop nose. Hints of pine and citrus in the background with a bit of honey. The pallet has a nice hoppy start and finish with citrus notes and floral undertones.
the body is light with soft carbonation. Overall this one is solid. Real enjoyable and easy drinking. Certainly unique.

Had this on 2012-08-08 in Columbia, PA
A - Clear gold with a 3-finger white head and good lacing.
S - Vegetal/dank hop floral, touch of bread and maybe a hint of fruit and perfumy sweetness. Not real strong smelling.
T - Light malt at first then a nice splash of citrus with some flowery spice and tea. Dries nicely and finishes with some tea, quite a bit of lingering citrus zest (and rose petal?) bitterness; barely cut with some fruit and a touch of caramel malt sweetness.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Very smooth and creamy initially but there's some prickle on the finish.
O - While not very aromatic, the feel and taste are quite nice. I like the flavors that linger long on my tongue. Plenty going on for a lowish ABV% IPA. Glad to have had it.

Recently released as part of SN's 2012 "Beer Camp" craft pack.
Poured from a bottle into a nonic pint.
A - Pours a clear deep golden-brass color with a fairly dense two-finger head with excellent retention. Epic lacing.
S - Well I hate to be obvious, but yes it does indeed smell like hop flowers. A hint of rose water as well.
T - Again like the title promises, very floral hop character forward. Fruity esters of papaya in the mid palate. Some wafer-like malts are present relegated to the background. Rose water in the finish. Strangely appealing.
M - Very light bodied, which suits the flavor components well. Medium carbonation.
O - This beer is like they took a SN Torpedo and dialed out 75% of the malt. Not really "balanced" in the traditional sense of "hops vs yeast", but the flavor elements chosen work really well together and the lightness makes it quite drinkable and refreshing. I'd drink again.

A - light amber with a large, dense, white head that has great retention
S - huge floral aroma
T - sweet, a bit bready, a hint of caramel, floral, some faint bitterness in the finish
M - medium bodied, smooth, well carbonated
This is a decent IPA. It has good flavor and decent balance. The floral hop character dominates though there is a fainter malt presence. This is solid and worth trying. It's different from some of the other SN IPA's.

Pretty looking beer, pours a bright, slightly hazy gold color with a large off white head. Nice lacing too.
Aromas are nice, fruity, tropical, I mostly notice mango, and a definite green floral note.
More malty and dry than I expected. Bready, lightly spicy, with some tea leaves, cracker, and some mellow sweetness. Finish is crisp and mineral like, with faint herbal, green, and bitter hoppiness.
Mouthfeel is pretty nice, it's on the lighter side, but fits well with this beer.
Overall, an interesting beer. Not at all what I expected. It's not a beer I'd seek out, but it's refreshing, very drinkable, and pleasant.
