This beer is a true West Coast-style Double IPA made with huge amounts of hops - both in the kettle for flavor and later in the torpedo to impart a massive hop aroma. The light malt body and dry finish hide the power in this immensely drinkable hop-bomb.

L- The beer pours golden with a very slight haze. The head rises to 2 fingers of off white foam which recedes to a thin ring and central island.
S- The nose is dank and weedy hops of moderate intensity. More weedy than dank.
T- The nose translates to the palate. Hops from beginning end in one long note. Malt is present and the beer ends with a light bitterness.
F-Mouthfeel is medium. Carbonation is light and prickly.
O- Another solid if unspectacular DIPA entry from SIerra Nevada. If you like a weedy hop profile you'll enjoy this one. It kind of reminds me of Hop Bullet in a way.

Poured from tap into tulip, nice 1+ finger head, recedes to a pool, nice lacing. Crystal clear Amber in the glass. Smells of sweet malt, pine and some tropical citrus. Taste initially caramel malt, strong pine/pineapple with a hint of citrus. Finishes on the semi sweet side.
