Thanks to my buddy Bluz4Frank for picking a couple of these up for me.
Poured from a 22oz bottle into a tulip glass.
A: Pours a clear, dark orange color with a ruby colored hue. A thick, creamy, off white head sits on top for what seems like ages. Tons of carbonation in this one as sheets of small bubbles slowly rise to the top. Spiderwebs of lacing are left behind. Very inviting appearance overall.
S: Up front, notes of pine, black pepper, dill, and other spices are noticeable. As you go back for more, aromas of citrus and tropical fruit make an appearance.
T: The taste is somewhat muted from what the aroma promised. The pine and spices are still noticeable, but I'm having trouble locating the citrus and fruitiness that was promised in the aroma.
M: Pretty thick feel on this one. A sort of chewy feel and a wet finish. A slight bittering effect occurs at the finish.
O: This is a solid IPA overall. No huge flaws and pretty good all around. I would've liked to see the taste match the aroma better, but I can't complain too much, I am really enjoying this one. Glad I have another bottle of this to enjoy.

On tap at Capitol Beer and Tap Room in Sacramento, CA
Appearance - A clear, slightly reddish copper, served up with an off-white, finger width head. Lacing clings nicely in spots.
Smell - Mellow orange, hints of pine. Moderate wheat.
Taste - Hops are spicy and with moderate citrus notes. Malt backbone comes across with clean, wheat bread-like quality. Hops turn piney near the aftertaste, before a cleanly fading finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with fair, somewhat lively carbonation. Smooth and drinkable, goes down quite nicely.
Overall - Definitely not your typical hop bomb, instead allowing the hops to add a nice dimension and complementary kick to the malt profile which, unless my taste buds were deceiving me, included a healthy amount of wheat. Nice beer overall, I really enjoyed it.
