Notes/Commercial Description:
This IPA sacrifices nothing for its drinkability, flexing big time flavor and complexity. The light color disguises the depth of the malt backbone, a pillar that balances the potent whole-cones of the piney-citrus Cascade and tropical fruit-like Citra hops.

Served from Bottle into Nordic Pint Glass

A - Hazy orange with a medium head that fades slowly leaving sticky lacing all the way down. Great looking beer.

S - Citrus, Tropical Fruit finishing with hints of caramel and pine.

T - Sweet tropical/floral hop hit fading to pear and leaving a piny earthy bitterness. Very well balanced.

M - Aftertaste does not last for long meaning you want more! Medium carbonation but very smooth and refreshing.

Great beer.

12oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass. 41 F. 149 13 C-2 0845 S is the bottle code. 3190214:40 is also printed on the bottle. I don't understand why they're both on there.

Pours pretty. Nice, big, creamy, fluffy head, great retention, amber-orange, lots of carbonation. Clear. Smell is very muted. Does the everlasting head act as an aroma cap, preventing aroma from getting out? Anyway, it's muted, but piney, slightly toasty. That's about all I can get. I'll smell it again when the head dissipates. <later> All I get is more pine, but I do get a lot more.

Taste is nicely piney. Lots of bitterness, slightly watered down sweetness.

Mouthfeel is surprisingly still for the amount of carbonation I can see. Slightly creamy, but some sort of odd coarseness. Overall, pretty good.
