A: Poured put a clear and dark copper color. Two fingers of a frothy tan head with a slight reddish hue. solid retention and creamy lacy around the whole glass.
S: Dank pine, bready yeast, and a very mild and underlying sweet malt.
T: Take the nose with some nutty and earthy flavors. Not as sweet as anticipated. That's it…
M: Medium and surprisingly creamy body with medium carbonation.
O: Bored to tears with this one. There is a pattern to all of the Sierra Nevada beers. Dank and bitter pine and bready malt. This one included. This is just like a cross between Ruthless Rye and Tumbler to me. This beer should've been a heck of a lot maltier for a red ale or red IPA. The best part of the beer was the impeccable pour. Other than that, drink a Green Flash Hop Head Red or a Troegs Nugget Nectar for a real red IPA experience.
