Just when it feels like the dog days will never end, suddenly, the switch is flipped, the air gets cooler and it’s clear that autumn is on the way. Featuring a ruby-red hue and abundant tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors, Flipside Red IPA is the perfect beer for the final flash of summer.

Without getting all technical about mouth feel and earthy roots, with a hint of etc., etc.,, I have to say that for what it is, I really like this beer. Sierra Nevada beers generally kick ass !

LOOK: Beautiful amber color

SMELL: Sedate. No dominant odor.

TASTE: bitter, but not too much.

Excellent beer. I feel like I walked into a micro brew and got an amber on draft. Nice early flavor, bitter, and a relatively clean finish. This is a winner.

Another solid ipa from Sierra Nevada. Simcoe, centennial and citra-how can you go wrong ? Pine, citrus, fruit with a lingering bitterness that coats the tongue and mouth. Aroma is tropical, quickly dissipating one finger wide soft white head, deep red color with moderate carbonation. The initial taste is citra, it's signature fruit taste followed by the resiny, pine and citrus of simcoe all complimented by the grapefruit of centennial. Clean yeast taste lingering bitterness a solid beer
