A decent English Pale Ale, although find it hard to consider 6%ABV listed as a "mild".
Hazy orange/red amber with little head. Limited aroma with some malt presence. Not as complex or well-rounded a taste profile as I'd hoped after sampling other (excellent) Minerva offerings.
Malt flavours and graininess present, but a thin & bitter finish. Lacking the sweet caramelization I associate with British pale ales or the hop-focus in aroma and finish I love in the American versions.
Glad Minerva offers something outside of the standard macro-lager fare, but this Pale Ale is definitely not up to the caliber of their Stout.

So full disclosure - bought, opened, and poured thinking this was a pale ale - but did not look, smell, or taste like a pale ale - oh - English Pale Mild Ale - makes more sense indeed.
Pours a a dark almost clear amber colour with hints of copper and a finger of tawny , khaki head.
Aroma is soft and malty - notes of bread, caramel, a touch nutty and earthy.
Taste follows - sweet bready malt, a bit of caramel and a touch earthy and floral - bereft of any real bitterness.
Light to medium mouthfeel with soft carbonation - a little sweet and certainly easy to drink, if not otherwise remarkable - not what I expected but is part on me there - though 6% ABV, hidden as it was, does not say “mild” to me.
