On-tap at the Brick Store.
Pours a hazy copper color with a cream-colored head that leaves decent lacing.
Smells of grainy medium malts with good amounts of mildly tart raspberries and smaller amounts of grassy funk.
Tastes more complex than it smells. Moderately dry medium malts up front are joined quickly by solid amounts of lightly tart raspberries. Midway through hints of breadiness come through before being pushed aside by wet hay and grassy funk. The funk fades out into a crisp and mildly bitter ending. Mouthfeel is good, with smooth carbonation.
Overall this was an interesting beer that is very well balanced in the flavor profile. Worth a shot.

first hits the noise with raspberry, juicy fruit and leather.... followed by minty, floral, Olive notes. finishes Olive strong. with fuzzy white pillowy head that dissipates quickly...
taste it's raspberry sour sweet....with leather and malt, followed by again olives... very much like the nose.
mouthfeel is very medium , medium light.... slight sweetness, but finishes dry... very drinkable...
overall a well done beer... delivers a classic sour character...with a raspberry twist...

On tap at Blue Monk. Pours pinkish with a wisp on head. Sour aroma with a drop of brett. A full mouthfeel is striking from the first sip until the palate gets used to the frontal attack of the raspberries, malt, and enzmes. Very nicely drinkable, a deep taste of raspberry thoroughness and fruit sugar. This is the real thing.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows raspberry, soft funk, light clean malt. Delectable.
More raspberry as a flavour, along with a fair bit of acidity. Well balanced though with some light malt underneath.
Could use more carbonation.

On tap at Bittercreek's 2014 Funkfest... Hefty pour into a large goblet... orangish with a definite pinkish tinge... fairly long lasting white head... nice lacing.
Nose is big bretty funk.. damp basement and wet hay/wet leather... fruit is tart and emerges more toward the end.
Flavor is dank funk with a pretty bracing sourness that is punctuated by fermented out raspberry tartness and a bit of fruit tannins.
A lot of stuff going on in this one... I enjoyed it, but doubt I would buy it again.

What an interesting, funky, tasty beer. It starts out enjoyable but only gets better as it warms. The sourness is prevalent but not overdone. And the same can be said for the funkiness. Lots of strawberry and raspberry flavors, some maltiness,, and a smooth mouthfeel and aftertaste. Really cool and fun. Will definitely drink more of this when I get a chance.

A: The beer is clear light yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short head consisting of large bubbles that gradually died down and left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raspberries are present in the nose along with some notes of sourness.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is mostly filled with flavors of sour raspberries. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer did a really good job of balancing the tartness and sweetness of raspberries with the sourness. The raspberry aromas and flavors become a little more dominant as the beer warms up, but it still remains very drinkable.

Review from notes. Tasted from bottle at Lush West Town. Pours peach orange with a fluffy and long-lasting tan head. Nose is fresh, tart raspberry with a hint of chewable vitamins and some funk and sweet syrup. The flavor is sweet and tart raspberry with a sour and funky note and solid acidity. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long tart finish.
