From the 11 point something ounce bottle into a teku.

Creamy off-colored head almost a finger thick. Persists well. Carbonation is healthy in the plum skin colored body. 4.5

Huge fruity nose. Raspberry, earthiness and some Brett-y yeast. Slight hints of acidity on the nose. 4

Pretty lemony on the flavor initially before taking an earthy, saison-like yeast. Mid-palate emerges the tart raspberry that then gives way to a bit of funk. There's a peppery quality that adds some character to the already interesting mix of flavors. 4

It's sour and acidic and funky and yeasty. It drinks very cleanly despite the mouth-puckering sourness. 4

This is good. Acidity is high and quite lemony but the fruit shines and there are plenty of flavors playing around here.

Very good raspberry wild beer! It's one of the few beers of this type that gets and maintains any kind of a head. It has a clear medium amber color. Aroma is it first mainly yeast, but then Mellows out into malt and raspberry. Flavor is Like aroma with a true natural raspberry taste soft bitterness and acid are all well balanced. Body is perfect. This is just a superb beer of its type.

375 ml bottle poured into a teku glass

Appearance: Pours a dark golden color with 1 finger of a white soapy head. Body is hazy but transparent with some light suspended sediment and visible carbonation.

Smell: Fresh raspberries, funk, lacto and hay.

Taste: Same as the aroma. Raspberries dominate the flavor, followed by some mild funk and slight oak character. Pretty straightforward, but nice. Sourness is medium.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied and somewhat watery mouthfeel. Carbonation on the lower end of medium.

Overall: Nice sour ale that makes good use of the added fruit. Not terribly complex, but worth a try.

On tap at minder lambic. Enjoyed this framboise just not as much as the Cantillon

Beer pours a dark orange body with a thin white head that quickly fades away. The smell is of tart raspberries, lactobacillus and a tiny bit of sweetness. Tart raspberries that quickly fades into a malt sweetness. The beer has a nice tart tingle on the back of the throat and on the tongue. A very delicious beer

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 11.1 oz. bottle into a Cigar City snifter.

A: Pours a pinkish copper, moderately hazy. Forms a thin white head with low visible carbonation. 3.25/5

S: Fruity raspberry, lactic tartness, acidic, and modestly funky. There's a light malt presence in the background as well. 16.5/20

T: Follows the nose - funky lactic tart, underripe raspberries, acetic undertones, a delicate light malt and what seems like wheat as well. There's a bit of funky barnyard with a touch of feet to it. Tartness lasts into the hang. 34.5/45

M: Medium body, very low alcohol presence. Carbonation sensation a bit on the low side. 8/10

O: I found this to be enjoyable. Doesn't compete at all with some of the best fruited sours, but a serviceable change of pace. The balance of between sourness and complexity left something to be desired. 16/20
