Belgian-inspired ale brewed with fresh peaches.

"Produced with the addition, in fermentation, of Volpedo peaches. In the glass it has a deep, opalescent orange color. The nose is very intense, offers summer aromas of ripe peach, accompanied by floral notes of rose and a clear memory of bitter almond, peach stone. In the mouth it enters soft, with a medium-structured body and hints of fruit in syrup. It closes very clean, just lightened by a slight acidity; very long in the finish, where the characterization of the peach is undisputed, but where an unexpected and slight hopping also emerges. Refined, feminine, unique beer."

11.2oz bottle. Wrapped in paper bag that has label graphics. No dating found.
Cloudy, dark gold colored body with a hint of peach. Brief off white head, results in a partial cap. No lacing. Lots of bottom sediment.
Aroma is peach and funk. Belgian yeast esters, which are flowery and provide a hint of vanilla.
Taste is a little sour, but has the peach flavor plus yeast esters. Has some spice and vanilla. Dry finish.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Similar to a wheat ale with peach fruit and yeast esters. This is a quiet beer with some breadth of aroma and flavors. Good warm weather beer.

Opalescent gold with orange reflections, crisp, fine-grained white foam with little persistence. Pronounced scent of peaches and a hint of herbaceous hops in the rear. On the palate the peach pulp is felt with arrogance but its entrance is sweet and rounded. Subsequently light biscuit, floral and bitter almond notes. Slightly hopped aftertaste with herbaceous tones and an almost imperceptible acid. Quite dry finish. Carbonation is medium and fine. The drink is too lean and waterly and the peach dominates everything.

Listed in the "1001", I don't think I'll have this again. It was not a good value and had some off-tastes.

I tried this on tap at Hunger N Thirst serve in a small snifter.

The color is golden and cloudy with thick white head and rocky top. The smell has mild floral and slightly fruity esters with gentle malt in the aroma. The feel is tangy, fruity and subtle creamy yet lightly mineral in the finish with slight sour aspect with mostly dry finish -like mineral water essence with peach flesh in texture.

The taste is good with a slight fruity malty entry with a subtle sweet quality and slight floral hint in the middle with peach essence that is semi-tangy yet mildly creamy perhaps from the yeast with a gentle and semi-dry finish. Overall this is interesting but of the peach beers I tried recently this was the most mellow

Taking pride in their rustic brewing roots that are now more likely embodied in Belgian lowland ales, Italy shows off their barley and wheat-rich tradition with Quarta Runa- a yeast and wheat heavy taste with a delicate array of fruit and spice, but with a certain peach-flavored lead.

Hazy goldenrod and turbid like German wheat ale, the beer's racing carbonation plumps up a large, rocky pillow of froth. With an acidic fruit tinge to the nose, the scent of peach is front and center. With a bready-sweet character looming, its taste is doughy and succulent like cookie dough.

With the rich wheat and bread flavors holding stern, the natural fruit esters of apple, banana, papaya and pawpaw act cidery, vinous with white wine, and share a candied confectioner's whimsy. Balanced with freshly grated white pepper, clove, peppercorn, vanilla and almond, the counter to fruit is spicy. Peach dominance however reign supreme with the mustiness of over-ripe orchard fruit, damp burlap and a whimsy of sea air adding a deep and earthen tone to finish without souring.

Medium-full on the palate, the beer's soft bitter finish is lightly grassy as the beer once again links up with the fruit skin pectin character of peach for an astringency that's mostly reserved for fruit wine. Trailing with a big wheat, yeast, vegemite and angel-food creaminess, the ale rounds out on the palate like a bigger, more complex, fruit-infused hefeweizen

A - Nice deep golden wheat body with a finger f creamy white head. OK retention and lace.

S - Loaded with delicious yellow peaches, fresh cut grass, sweet melon, and bread crust.

T - Sweet and peachy. Grass, lemon, crisp apple, syrupy canned peaches, and dry earthy hops.

M - Medium body with low carbonation.

O - Fruity and sweet. Almost more fruit lambic-like than Belgian strong ale.

just incredible beer here, been loving the italians, and this, although not technically a wild ale, which i have found those guys do the best, is up there with the best i have had from the boot shaped country with a diverse brewing history. its hazy straw colored beer, super heady, but unassuming in presentation aside from the comical but beautiful artwork on the paper that wraps the bottle. the smell on this is insane, fresh peaches with a caramel kick, like they were grilled or somehow caramelized themselves. the malt base is simple, seemingly wheat first, and its quite yeasty too, with an ale strain somewhere between belgian saison and mild brett. there is a mild funk, but it may just be from unpasteurized raw wild fruit. the peach flavor in this too is as authentic as it gets. the way atrial rubicite gives you raspberries like no other, this does the same thing with the peach. i taste and feel the tangy fuzz on the outside, and the juicy ripeness is unrivaled in fermented beverages. the yeast is cool, bready and light, like a peach pastry, and that caramelization almost grilled peach richness as there all the way though. somehow super dry as it finishes, with only natural peach flavor left on the palate. as good as fruit beer gets, especially without the maturity and funk of a lambic type. amazing, and easily the best of the few beers i have had from these guys, maybe my favorite italian brew to date. special, and although it cost almost 30 bucks, it was worth every penny!!!
