Big thanks to Thome50 for this bottle, shared with Dreadnaught33
A: Pours a slightly hazy light yellow/gold with a small white head and minimal lacing.
S: Alright, we are off to a good start here, smell is very nice, it's a nice mix of hops and citrus. It doesn't quite punch you in the face like some DIPAs, but I'm very impressed.
T: Taste is citrusy, hoppy and a little sweet. It's got nice balance, but this beer has no real hop bite to speak of. It's very easy to drink, but I want a little more hoppiness out of my DIPAs and this doesn't quite deliver.
M: Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with good carbonation.
O: Another very good, but not incredible beer from Kern River here. I have to say that yet again (as I was with the Double Citra) I am a little disappointed in this beer. This one had a lot of the elements necessary to make a great DIPA, but just came up short on the bitter/hoppy side of things.
