Pours a hazy golden orange with a frothy yellowish cream head that dissipates slowly, leaving modest lacing.
Pumpkin, clove, ginger, and cinnamon form the initial aroma, with a bit of toasted malt lurking in the background. The balance is spices.
Flavor is actually a bit beery, with toasted, nutty malt underlying the ginger, pumpkin, and clove. The finish is fairly bitter and dry. Ginger dominates a bit, providing a cola flavor.
Body is moderate, with moderate carbonation, and the finish is harsh.
Ginger is not my favorite flavor in a beer, and I'm not a fan of harsh bitterness or cola, so this isn't my favorite seasonal.
