12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Bottle stamped best before Jan 07.
Pours a light orange color that is more yellow towards the sides of the glass. Small head when poured dissipated quickly. The beer is cloudy from the tiny little particles (spices?) in suspension.
The smell is tons of cinnamon and nutmeg. There is some underlying pumpkin sweetness too. The beer starts off with some sweet pumpkin taste up front followed by all those pumpkin pie spices through the middle and finishes spicy.
Medium bodied and spicy on the palate. The spices leave a fine chalkiness on the tongue. The spices stay with you a long time.
The taste of this is good, but the spices wear on me. I think there is a little too much spice to it.
