Drank 03.22.20 out of a straight edge tapered wine glass. Not a huge Weiss fan but wanted to try what I could of whatever was left of Smutty's last available beers. This one fell short.
Look - Nice inch head and initially good looking, but calmed down into an orangey flat color.
Smell - Peachy
Taste - Strong peach despite the 5 years on this beer, no smoke. They got what they were looking for. Nice sourness.
Feel - Somewhat thin, light, right for the style but maybe if it was thicker, it might have added something?
Overall - Not my style but glad I tried it to taste the peach.

500 ml bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange with a big, foaming, noisy head. Some yeasties floating around in there.
Aroma: Almost an orange soda-like nose with woody smokiness and citrus. Very nice aroma.
Taste: Sweet peaches and sourness, with a smoky character from the malt. Hint of orange cola. Finishes kind of sour.
Mouthfeel: Not a face-puckerer, but sour enough that it’s a sipper.
Overall: Cool stuff. Enjoyable fruity/smoky sour. Different and fun.

-Berliner style wheat ale brewed with peaches and smoked malt in duvel chalice. Bot. 11/15. consumed 12.14.16.
A: A soapy, macro-bubbly and very audible weathered ivory head quickly dissipates to a thin foam layering. Dense tangerine orange coloring with a glass consuming rate of effervesce fills the vessel making things lively inside. Things conclude with a clean vessel, void of any lacing.
S: Lightly sour peaches and smoked malt with some light apple fruitiness. Light to medium rate of strength which doesn't hold on long.
T: Flavor had a good amount of sour peaches with a background helping of smoked malt. Some puckering lemon tones, fresh breadiness, and a light fruity sourness rounds things out on the finish with some sour citrus.
M: Sharp and tingly feel from the active carbonation, medium body, oily slick texture that fills out nicely on the tongue.
O: The sour peaches come through nicely, though would of like a bit more showing, as with the smokiness. Puckering rate of fresh lemons, with a decent amount of sourness per style for spontaneous kettling, seems to have held up rather well from bottle date to consumption.

From the possibly ancient bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a small head, vanishing quickly. No lacing. Lots of peach with a faint touch of smoke in the nose. Tart in the mouth.
