"Cask" ( keg) conditioned and served from a bar top cradle minutes after the spline was removed and the tap hammered home, at The Beech Tree Grill ( by Dave) in Po-town.
Hazy, bright orange tinted beer with a thin clotted white head, which persisted right to the end.
Intense citrus aroma - sharp grapefruit and blood orange with a hint of honey sweetness. Very Left coast.
Flavor was sharp up front with powerful hop character and little malt to balance. Served a bit too cold, some grain sweetness came thru as it came up to temp.
Again, flavors seemed out of balance but the freshness and soft carbonation made this hop exstavaganza very tasty and highy drinkable. Long, hop finish is firmly bitter but not overwhelming or puckery.
Excellent session IPA for the Hop Head - fresh tasting with a wonderful soft mouth feel from the subdued, natural carbonation.

Appearance: pours a golden orange color. with a generous 2 plus finger white foamy head that fades at a decent rate and leaves a small lacing behind. good clarity.
Smell: strong crystal/caramel malt sweetness. hops are decently strong with some pine, resin and a smaller amount of citrus.
Taste: opens with a strong sweetness from the crystal and caramel malts. afterwards there is some bitterness coming in with flavors of pine and resin. overall it comes off slightly grassy.
Mouthfeel: medium to lighter body. some lingering bitterness, a touch too sweet to me.
Overall: well before its printed freshness date but still a little lacking in the hops. too strong and sweet malts. also the grassiness I found in the taste throws me off a bit.

A beer that I keep coming back to over and over again. Appearance is a hazy orange with a cream colored head that laces the glass. The smell had a lot of citrus and hop flavors in it. The taste was similar with orange peel, lemon, and grapefruit flavors through out the beer. The mouthfeel compliments the taste with a light crisp finish that makes it one of my go to beers all year round. A great beer for hop lovers and casual drinkers alike.
