Thanks to BuckeyNation for this tasty morsel of an IPA!
Pours out gold and sits a foggy orange amber in the glass with a bit foamy white head, leaving lacings all over the glass.
Packs a good amount of citrus hop aroma, filled with grapefruit, lemon and orange. Mild malty sweetness with little caramel. Bready backbone that just feels gooey.
Tastes lightly sweet up front but quickly picks up steam. Flavors of fresh ruby-red grapefruit and a trickle of orange juice pour out from the hoppy core. Sweet fruity flavors are abound, and are managed with a equal amount of hop bitternes. Finish is bitter and keeps the flavor of citrus in your mouth long after swallowing.
Crisp and fresh in the mouth with nice carbonation in a meduim body. Flavors ard aromas easily find their way out of the body.
A delightfully easy IPA to drink, and packs with it tons of flavor. It's one of the best I've had and would be welcome in my fridge any time.

Appearance: pours a golden orange color. with a generous 2 plus finger white foamy head that fades at a decent rate and leaves a small lacing behind. good clarity.
Smell: strong crystal/caramel malt sweetness. hops are decently strong with some pine, resin and a smaller amount of citrus.
Taste: opens with a strong sweetness from the crystal and caramel malts. afterwards there is some bitterness coming in with flavors of pine and resin. overall it comes off slightly grassy.
Mouthfeel: medium to lighter body. some lingering bitterness, a touch too sweet to me.
Overall: well before its printed freshness date but still a little lacking in the hops. too strong and sweet malts. also the grassiness I found in the taste throws me off a bit.
