Had this on 2010-04-08 in Lancaster, PA (updated initial review)
Poured a lovely amber-orange with an amazing 4" head into a 16 oz pint glass. The white head lasted forever with great lacing.
The smell is of bread yeast, pine and light citrus.
The taste is strong hops bitter, lots of citrus, some pine and sweet malt which along with the creamy head gave some balance to the strong bitterness from the hops. Even so, the bitterness lasts a long time on the tongue.
It has medium carbonation.
This is certainly a good example of an IPA and I really like the intense bitter-hop profile.

Appearance: pours a golden orange color. with a generous 2 plus finger white foamy head that fades at a decent rate and leaves a small lacing behind. good clarity.
Smell: strong crystal/caramel malt sweetness. hops are decently strong with some pine, resin and a smaller amount of citrus.
Taste: opens with a strong sweetness from the crystal and caramel malts. afterwards there is some bitterness coming in with flavors of pine and resin. overall it comes off slightly grassy.
Mouthfeel: medium to lighter body. some lingering bitterness, a touch too sweet to me.
Overall: well before its printed freshness date but still a little lacking in the hops. too strong and sweet malts. also the grassiness I found in the taste throws me off a bit.

A beer that I keep coming back to over and over again. Appearance is a hazy orange with a cream colored head that laces the glass. The smell had a lot of citrus and hop flavors in it. The taste was similar with orange peel, lemon, and grapefruit flavors through out the beer. The mouthfeel compliments the taste with a light crisp finish that makes it one of my go to beers all year round. A great beer for hop lovers and casual drinkers alike.
