Hazy golden/orange, with a rocky, frothy ivory head. Smells like I have a raw hop flower lodged in my nose--citrus and grassy.
Sharp hop bitterness grabs the tongue and does not let go, with flavors of grapefruit & lemon zest and a leafy character. Slight biscuity malt is there for "balance", such as it is, but it's easy to ignore if you're after a strict hop bonanza. Bitter tang on the tongue serves as the finish.
A hop lover's wet dream, without tasting like your mouth got washed out with soap. A pair of thumbs up to Smuttynose.
