sampled less than 1 month of bottling: hazy pumpkin colored orange with a dense layer of ivory foam that has just unbelievable retention...it left thick rings down the glass. awesome. big fat bubbles of struggling carbonation. sweet aroma of over-ripened grapefruit and cookie dough. sturdy medium body, even carbonation renders a full but refreshing mouthfeel. dollop of juicy grapfruit and sugar coated pine cone flavor. bitterness is there but tempered by juicy sweetness of the hops. malt holds up well but remains in the background. delicously drinkable, goes down almost too fast. the quaffability factor is out of this world.
i'll take this one fresh out of the bottle over the tap any day. bright, sweet, and exploding with flavor. i think i've found a new favorite session ipa. awesome stuff.

Appearance: pours a golden orange color. with a generous 2 plus finger white foamy head that fades at a decent rate and leaves a small lacing behind. good clarity.
Smell: strong crystal/caramel malt sweetness. hops are decently strong with some pine, resin and a smaller amount of citrus.
Taste: opens with a strong sweetness from the crystal and caramel malts. afterwards there is some bitterness coming in with flavors of pine and resin. overall it comes off slightly grassy.
Mouthfeel: medium to lighter body. some lingering bitterness, a touch too sweet to me.
Overall: well before its printed freshness date but still a little lacking in the hops. too strong and sweet malts. also the grassiness I found in the taste throws me off a bit.
