An interesting variation of Amber Lager. The color is golden brown with a slight chill haze. The initial head was substantial and clung to the top of the glass. Some lace remained when the glass was empty.
The initial taste is a a bit strong with grainy malt, but I liked it. The bubble crush imparted malt and hops to the palate and the finish was nicely bitter with some decent length. Not much of a smell got past my nasal polyps, but a snort detected the malt, which had some complexity of grass, grain, caramel. Overall a good brew and quite sessionable.
