This was probably the first craft beer that I began drinking as a standard a few years ago.
A- Pours a hazy dark brown retaining a little head.
S- Smells kind of malty and musty... and a bit bready.
T- Has a medium level of maltiness, some slight smokiness, and a hardly noticeable bitterness that is just enough to balance off the malts. The only thing that stands out about this ale as opposed to other brown ales is the mineral and earthy quality of the water.
M- Properly carbonated for the style. Very clean feeling.
D- Good one to drink a couple pints of at the local bar. It's nothing special, but is usually pretty good.
