Pours a clear, orange-amber with a small ivory head.
The nose is a pleasant candied caramel malt smell with a bit of apple behind it.
Fresh from the fridge, this is really too closed up and has a bit too much carbonated bite. Until it warms up some, very little of the flavor comes through. Even warmed, I didn't get a lot off this until the aftertaste which is a pleasant mild caramel with just a bit of a husky bitterness to it.
Drinkability and mouthfeel are both above average, but nothing to write home about.
Overall, not bad.
