12oz bottle from 6-pack at Total Wine. They had this stuff on sale for $4.99 (and it was this season's - haha!), so I figured I'd try it.
A: Poured into a shaped pint glass... orangey, straw gold with a touch of cloudiness; one-finger, white head dies down without leaving much lace - although it does manage some light retention.
S: Sweet; light bready, fruity yeast aroma; light grassy notes in there, too.
T: Wheat malt; cracker; ginger; fruitiness from yeast (or chamomile).
M: Medium body; moderate-high carbonation; a touch slick.
O: Pretty complex for a refreshing summer brew... perhaps even a little too complex for what it is - does a German wheat beer really need Belgian yeast and chamomile? Maybe a bit much, but still a good summer ale.
