A: It's dark brown and appears black in the glass. There's a wonderfully huge fluffy tan head with great lacing in the glass.
S: The sent really fills my nose...not sure how to say it but it's very "thick" with scent. I get some burnt scents. It smells very similar to a pot of coffee being brewed. I pick up some wood scent...not really oak but like the smell when you cut wood. Smells good.
T: Wow. This has a lot of flavor...very similar to the smell except for the woodiness. It has a very light roasted/burnt flavor. I get some very faint esters after drinking a few sips.
M: The mouthfeel is perfect on this beer. It's like biting into a tomato if that tomato were made of Baltic Porter. I get flavor bursting all over the mouth with great carbonation. the beer has a nice medium-to-heavy mouthfeel. It's a little heavier than a normal porter but it feels great.
O: Overall I thought this was a really good beer. I'm glad I got this one because it was a random pick-up. I would buy this again and recommend it to others. It would go great with some grilled steaks or something. Very tasty.

A - A beautiful black brew, with dark brown highlights, but mostly opaque. Capped with a dark tan head that reduce to a thin line that maintains serious lacing.
S - Mostly roasted malts, with a line of wood and molasses. Underlying this is a strong element of alcohol. Subtle, given the flavor blast to come.
T - Full flavor of roasted malts, with subtle chocolate elements, toasted grains, and mild tobacco and leather notes. Dark bread in the middle, like molasses bread, and a subtle bitter note to close, and a hint of alcohol.
M - Silky smooth, with a full feel, and some mild coating, but the alcohol at the close effectively scrubs the heaviest elements away.
O - Tremendous effort, with a very big, bold brew that manages to deliver imperial stout flavors via the distinct style of the baltic porter.
