Next to Vons off of Orange Street in Redlands

Very small beer selction, but good for what they have

Got a case of twenty-four bottles of Sea Dog Pumpkin Ale for only ten dollars, great deal any way you look at it

Carry some Anderson Valley (IPA, Boont Ambers, Barneys Oatmeal Stout), some of their own brews inmcluding a 2006 vintage ale made by the Canadian brewer, Unibroue

Can buy singles as well as six packs

Chimays are the best dealo here, the big bottles run 6.99 and 7.99 a pop

Good location for Trader Joe's, others are not too impressive

This is one of, if not the original Trader Joe's in the Inland Empire (about 12 years old at this writing?), and after being a customer in its early years, I haven't been back until recently. It's a fairly small, but typical of the chain. Their approach is low cost, high qaulity, and sometimes unusual food stuffs. But this isn't a review of the store, it's a discussion of the beer.

This TJ's dedicates one small (shallow) aisle to beer (and about 4 aisles to wine), where I counted about 60 different beers, although there may have been some overlap. Very typical selection for the chain, some Gordon Biersch relabelled a Trader Joe's brand, lots of Full Sail, Rogue Dead Guy, Anderson Valley, Chimay and Lindemans, Samuel Smiths, and the like. A decent selection, although to be honest, the city of Redlands now has several places with a better selection (BevMo, Gerrards, Annette's). But this place is reasonable, and I have fond memories as being one of my early sources for quality beer.

TJs staff always tend to be pretty helpful, although I wouldn't count on anyone you talk to as having any beer knowledge.
