This came in a trade but it's not on beeradvocate, I'm thoroughly confused. Beer is in a 22 ounce bottle, beer is brown, lazy head, low carbonation, low lacing, low retention. Looks fine.
The aroma out of the bottle is garam masala. Smells like spicy Chai tea, interesting, scary a little, In the snifter it smells a little different, nutmeg cloves, less intense, more inviting.
Beer is odd, it is mildly spicy and has this warm semidry finish to it. The spices linger on the palate, sitting there, waiting for something. It clings there for several minutes, now the curry flavor is back. Strong, getting stronger, overwhelming, this would be a good cooking solvent but I can't drink more of it.
