Poured from bottle into Two Brothers pint. Head is nice and pretty thick. Look is pretty good as well with a amber shade.
Odor is almost non-existent. Some sweet maybe but very little.
Taste is very light. A hint of honey sweetness. Mostly some malt and a little grain.
Mouth feel is very light as well. It is not too bad, just light and smooth.
Overall a very light beer. Not really that sweet. Not much to it really.

Appearance - This is a light orange color with little head.

Smell - The aroma is very faint, almost undetectable, but is made up light grain and a small whiff of cheap honey.

Taste - The honey comes out more at the taste but it is stale, or maybe it's the grain that's stale. Something is stale and nothing tastes particularly appealing.

Mouthfeel - This is light-bodied with some fizzy carbonation.

Sinkability - I'm a hard sell on a honey blonde lager to begin with and this didn't help the cause. The ingredients came across as cheap and the flavors didn't work well together.

(Served in a bowtie glass)
A- This beer pours a crystal clear caramel colored hue with a sea of slow bubbles supporting a lumpy meringue of off-white heat that last a good bit.

S- The clean nose has hints of dried corn and some faint green papery hops with a cream note coming through the finish as it warms.

T- The dry slightly sulfur taste has some raw barley and corn notes in the finish with some dry mead taste growing as it opens and blending with a carbonic acid taste.

M- The light mouthfeel has a crisp fizz and no real alcohol heat to it.

O- This beer is light and clean but doesn’t really have any character to it and didn’t have much honey or malt flavors in there at all.

I have to be a little disappointed in this beer as Ive been very happy with nearly everything Uinta has done and I love honey. Problem was there was never any honey but for the color. The aroma was more grain and cereal malts, like a Pilsner. The taste followed suit with a dry grain and cereal malt with a bit of hops, but no honey or even sweetness. I looked to see if maybe the bottle was old but found it was actually quite fresh. This just came across as a less than noticeable Pilsner style lager.

Bottled on 3-17-09.sampled 11-18-09.

A: Poured a honey-orange with a quickly diminishing fizzy stagnant white capping that came and went without much thought, care, or lacing. Clarity was fairly good with a light visible carbonation presence. Ho-hum here move on.

S: Dried honey-comb best describes the opening aroma with sugary cereal grains. The delivery is soft and slightly dry with faint hints of dry hay lingering a bit on the trail.

T: The flavor is overly sweet from the start and continues to stay with you till the very end. Thin in flavor and substance it reminded me of watered down honey with again sweet sugary cereal grains. Flashes of apples and oranges with red grapes add some fruity sweetness as well. Pretty basic and straight forward finishing up with a fresh honey sweetness.

M: watery with a light slickness with a barely distinguishable carbonation. Rather unexciting and perhaps the low point of an otherwise average experience thus far.

D: average per style, I could of gone much lower here overall wise. I would not consider a second glass, nor would I consider buying again. Half way through this beer became uninteresting, was overly sweet and couldn't and wouldn't recommend even as a single purchase.

Clear orange colored ale with a small white colored head.

Smells sweet and malty with a hint of flower pollen. Scent of scorched sugar and hardwood. Fairly strong honey scent.

Starts out semisweet with a burnt sugar taste. Wheat biscuit and honey malt flavor. Mild bitterness. Still reminds me of honey on a biscuit.

Mouthfeel is OK.

Overall an OK beer. It is inoffensive in every way and is an excellent light beer.

A. I'll call it a light honey color. Not much of a head and that leaves town quickly. Same with the lacing or lack of.

S. Grainy with a touch of honey, really not much at all.

T. Has a sweet malty thing going on at the start. Has a grainy taste towards and at the end. I never really got nothing more than a bit of honey in passing.

M. Gives you a malty mouthful that seems medium bodied and somewhat sweet.

D. They call this an ale and Beer Adv. has it listed as a light lager.
The later is way closer to the truth. At 4% this is like someone took a big time lager and added some honey. Made it better but not great.
