Appearance- Pours up an okay amount of head with some retention. The head is a pure cotton-white while the body is a dull pale amber which shows slight notes of golden straw when held up to the light. Lacing tends toward sheeting.
Nose- Fairly typical aroma for a pale ale. Lots of citrus- mostly orange and orange peel with some lemon and grapefruit. A little bit of peach with some notes of pine and resin in the background. Some presence but little complexity. Swirling doesn't add anything.
Taste- Starts of with the citrus of the nose but it's a lot weaker and fairly thin. Weak orange and orange peel and not many of the other notes on the nose. Light pine and resin with a slight bit of earwax on the finish. Spiciness mixed with an unusual grittiness on the finish. Really disrupts the flavor profile and has no place in a pale ale. Some caramel, a bit of lemon. No real flaws but lacking in complexity and presence. A long way away from being in the same class as SNPA or Red Chair. Not much more for me to comment on other than the fact that this is a fairy mediocre beer. Just average- nothing less, nothing more.
Mouthfeel- Just a little more than light bodied with light carbonation. Some grittiness. A little bit of chalk.
Drinkability- Goes down pretty much like water. This is mostly because it tastes like slightly flavored water. Not bad but definitely not worth buying again.
Overall- Just average. If you're looking for something light with low alcohol, I would give it a try. Otherwise, I would pass on this.

12oz. can served in a small schooner. Pours a dull burnt orange with a hazy clarity. Head is loose, off-white and quickly dissipates towards the shoulders, leaving a residual soapy slick. Some spots of lacing revealed during the tasting. Nose expresses light biscuit malts and a trace of fruity esters. Taste consistent with nose with the addition of a noble hops presence at the finish. There's also a little citric acid interspersed throughout the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is light in body with a crisp carbonation and a hint of acidity. Overall an easy drinking session beer, but not much flavor. That said, I'd be interested to see this beer on-cask.

12oz Bottle from the Wegmans Dewitt NY for $2
Appearance - Clear gold colour with a large size frothy and fizzy white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some good lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Malts, caramel, hops, grapefruit, pineapple, apricots
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts and caramel mixed with hops. There is also some pineapple, apricot and grapefruit.
Overall - A solid easy drinking APA. Uinta is turning out to be one of my favourite brewers.
