Not a style I would go to often but I was grilling yesterday and this was nice to have all afternoon.Poured into a standard pint glass a clear lemon tinged light golden with a thinner white head atop. The aromas were actually quite complex with lemony hops, toasted cereal grain, and a hint of biscuit.Lighter mouthfeel was expected but it didn't deter much from the beer, bright lemony notes along with a grainy element that lingers into a nice finish. One of the better beers I can think of if you want a low alcohol but flavorful blonde ale.

12 ounce bottle, "Bottled on 5/27/11"

Pour: Golden straw, near clear, white head that stays as a film and leaves respectable strands of lace.

Wheaty malt sniff

More wheat infused malt flavorings and just a hit of drying hops in the finish.

Nothing more then expected, decent summer quaffer

Poured into becker pint glass; clear golden yellow with a medium white head that sticks around with lots of foam and lacing. Smell is lots of crackery malt and just a hint of citrus and grassy crisp hops. Taste is delicious; crisp, clean body of biscuity malt with a perfect pinch of juicy citrus and crisp hops. Another great session beet from Uinta.

Pale in color, somewhere between white gold and yellow gold, there's definitely no doubting this beer's "blondeness." The moderately sized, bubbly head on it is pure white. Retention is good, and spotty lacing is left in moderation.
This is a unique beer, certainly within parameters of what's become something of a catch-all for a light ale not brewed with wheat. It has some interesting characteristics to it, though. Nicely hoppy for a little blonde with an ample malt balance, the way they come together isn't typical. Grassy and citrusy with some herbal notes, it's also got some pithy rind, and it balances an interestingly doughy sort of malt. The smell brings out something like cookie (?), while in the flavor there's more of a flash of nuttiness before a more fruit-forward finish.
Barely medium in body, it's got more heft than many blondes. It's also got a hard bite of crispness all the way through without giving up smoothness. A gently herbal edge gives a little dryness going into the finish.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a crystal clear pale gold, with 2 fingers of foamy bright-white head. This retains with a rich dollop of froth right in the middle of the glass, which soaps the sides of the glass with thick lacing. The aroma smells grassy, spicy, and citric with some supportive bready sweetness underneath. The hops really give a bold push here in the nose though overall, with that spiciness in particular stickng out.

The taste is a light green citrus to flavor to it that while well balanced by the grainy sweetness of the malts, still spread a leafy and spicy bitterness out into the profile which lingers in the finish with some steadiness. The mouthfeel is lighter to medium bodied, with an overall smooth creaminess to it and just enough of a prickle to keep this crisp on the tongue.

This was certainly a pretty hoppy take on an American Blonde and I didn’t mind one bit. This was flavorful, crisp and light on the palate, making for a pleasant drinkable experience. Uinta has been doing nicely for me this summer with these quaffable lighter beers.

Single bottle from mixed six poured into a pint glass. Classic summer beer.

Pours light gold with dissolving white foam. Wheaty citrus nose. Lemon. Smooth and sunny taste. A light tart rises up. Very slight hop at the finish. Really bright summer beer. Solid.

A thanks to the legendary woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is malty, lemons, some floral notes. Taste is lemony, malts, a bit of floral hops, easy drinking and refreshing. Feels light in the mouth and overall would be a fine session beer.

From the can marked Best Before 10/10/13. Sampled on July 12, 2013.

The pour is golden yellow with a long lasting, foamy white head with carbonation that continues bubbling upwards all the way to the end.

The nose is of grainy malts, crisp clean hops, and a drop of lemon zing in the background.

It has the ideal summer body with a light and refreshing texture.

The taste is upfront grainy but there are enough clean hops to balance it off. Also that lemon citrus activity is mellow but adds to the character.

Pours a clear golden straw color with a tight white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing.

Smells of light citrus hops and pale malts.

Tastes of the pale malt followed by a hop zing. Pale malts are grainy and a little sweet. Hops are lemon zesty. Balanced between sweet and bitter. A bit of yeast fruitiness.

Mouthfeel is light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Picked up a growler at Brewforia tonight in Meridian Idaho....Love the place

appearance: Golden yellow. Almost looks the same color as Budlight. Pure white head on beer that sits low. leaves some lace on the side. lots of activity in the glass.

Smell- Not much. Rather plain, some light fruit/citrus hidden in there.

Taste- Just not sure what I need in it. Orange? Lemon? Just not sure. It feels like it is missing something. There is a bit of wheat flavor with a bready light flavor. At first I didn't like it but I tried it again on the second night and really enjoyed it.

mouth-feel- lots of carbonation. very actice beer

Overall- Much better the second night out of the growler...

Pours a light golden yellow with a thicker then expected white frothy head. Smell is doughy, slight hop, slight citrus. Taste is crisp, the doughy flavor is there with some malt and a slight citrus hop finish. A thicker mouthfeel then expected, a refreshing beer, really easy drinker. Overall a good beer that is done well. Really great summer beer, but I could have these all year round.

12oz stubby.
A) Pours with a big, white, head of foam. Settles quite quickly to creamy lacing at the edge of that glass. Slight chill haze, but mostly clear golden body.
S) Grassy. Lemon. Subtle green apple.
T) Light malty sweetness on the front of the tongue at first then moves to a citrus bite, before subsiding to a nutty sweet finish.
M) Fizzy, yet creamy. Light bodied.
D) A decent summer, this one poured a little warmer than proper, so it would've been a bit better.

Poured into a hefe glass. Color was a very light pale straw with a milky white head. Initially poured a 3 finger head that lasted 5-10 minutes. A small 1 finger head lasted for most of the beer. Constant streams of carbonation rose for about 15 minutes. Aroma was slightly sweet, and slightly wheaty. Taste was very pleasant, slightly citrusy, a tad sweet, a tad of hoppy bitterness, but very balanced. Felt ok in the mouth. Slightly over bitter on the toungue, but coated well and felt solid. A nice summer beer. Definitely worth drinking.

Poured a medium straw hue with a two finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a grainy pale malt and grassy, floral hop.

The taste consisted of a soft sweet malt capped by a mild flowery hop.

The mouthfeel was toward the rounder side of the style.

Overall a standard session ale. An easy drinker.

A- pours a pale gold with minimal foam. not much retention

S- slight maltiness and grassy smell.

T- a little malty. There is a minimal grassy taste, but the malts overwhelm the flavor

M- light. This would be smoother except for the malts that coat the entire mouth.

O- decent beer. Would be great in the summer. The only real complaint is the excessive use of malt.

A - A bright clear blonde with a mild haze and a 1/4 inch of head that quickly reduces to a mild lace ring.

S - Smell of bright leafy hops and a mild grain profile. Citrus and lemon highlight.

T - The balance of hops to malt is great. The profile is crisp and grains and noticeable but sweet and wheat like.

M - Light and crisp. In no way watery for such a low ABV.

Overall a sure fire winner of a summer ale worth a six pack a sitting.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a medium white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, a good amount of hops and some citrus.

T: The taste starts out with some breadiness from a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweet flavors of lemony citrus and caramel quickly follow. The hops presence is good for the style and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, very mild kick, good representation of style, this is a nice beer to pound down for a long time.

12oz. bottle

Pours a very pale straw color with a small white head that maintains. Decent lacing around the glass.

Very crisp malty aroma with a touch of herbal hops. Very slightly fruity. Smells very fresh and inviting.

Crisp and malty upfront leading into a mild herbal hop flavor and very mild bitterness. Finishes crisp as it stared, dry and very clean.

Light body, zippy carbonation.

An ideal summer brew. Crisp, clean, and extremely refreshing. Light in body, but not in flavor. Great for a nice session on the deck into the evening hours.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation and some faint straw yellow highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy off-white head that reduces to a pillowy thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and an even thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of pale malts and grains with some hints of grassy and herbal hops.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of pale and grainy malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. There is a slightly stronger flavor of herbal and grassy hops that impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers slightly.

M: Light bodied with a just shy of moderate amount of carbonation. Refreshing.

O: Easy to drink, sessionable, and refreshing... A very enjoyable beer for a hot summer afternoon/evening.

Golden yellow that is slightly hazy. Almost no head just a bunch of large bubbles sticking to the sides. Light/Pilsner malt aroma with some lemon grass. Somewhat sour like macro lager. Flavor is carbonated and crisp. Extremely pale/sour malty let down. There is a light grassy hop finish that separates it from the category of bad macro brew.

It warmed up today to the point that my backyard has thawed out and I even discovered a spent CAN that someone threw over the fence prior to the first snowfall! People everywhere know of The CANQuest (TM) and often leave me spent CANs for recycling or otherwise. It was not warm enough to remind me of Summer, but it beat the intense cold of late.

From the CAN: "Brewed with ORGANIC barley & hops"; "Earth, Wind and Beer Sunkissed by Uinta Brewing Co. Salt Lake City UT"; "Brewed with renewable power"; "Certified Organic by the Utah Department of Agriculture & Food".

I heard a nice, loud Crack so I celebrated with an inverted Glug, resulting in two-plus fingers of soft, bone-white head with good retention that resembled meringue. Color was a hazy lemon-yellow (SRM = 4). Nose had a lemony, grassy scent and lemongrass was certainly a possibility. Frankly, it reminded me more of a Pilsner than a Blonde. Mouthfeel was very soft, caressing my poor, bruised tongue and washing it with a lemony, biscuity flavor. I stand behind thinking of it as a German Pilsner. Finish was semi-dry, refreshing and a definite possibility for inclusion in the cooler in the Sum'r, I mean, Summer.
