Citrusy and thirst-quenching, this refreshing golden ale is highlighted by the use of unique hops.

From a beer of the month club. Pour had a floofy white foam head with a pale golden haze and some particulate. Scent is enjoyable with a spicy/herbal and grassy note coming across nicely with a bit lemon zest coming along too. Taste has malt coming up front (crackery) with the hoppy smells in the scent playing nicely with it -- nothing is too strong and nothing is too boisterous. Feel is surprisingly smooth but leaves a bit of dryness behind that feel a touch out of place. Aftertaste is slightly hoppy (mainly the spicy/herbal variety). A solid offering.

Pours lemon yellow with a small cap of white head.
Aroma is pretty faint. Grass, lemon, faint honey.
Smooth, grassy, with a little lemon.
A bit thin but well carbonated.
Not bad. Easy drinker. Pretty refreshing but not a standout.

Picked up a single can of this at the end of season clearance as the bottle shop was switching over from summer beers to pumpkin beers and winter warmers.

Pours a yellow color seemingly indicative of blonde ale, was hazier than it should be. 1/2" white head. So the hops, the commercial tug job claims they are so unique they will make this beer. Well, unfortunately there is nothing unique about them in the nose, other than they don't provide anything in the way of aroma, like, even less than the well known classical non proprietary bittering hops.

Taste, yeah, the only thing unique about these hops was prolly their price (discount). Sterling and Opal hops taste like virtually nothing. Mouth feel is bubbly, above average carbonation, but below average everything else in terms of quantity regarding malt, hops, yeast flavors (neutral ale). I get it, sometimes you just want a tastes like almost nothing beer that can't get you drunk no matter how many of them you drink. That is this beer.

Looks like an American lager except just slightly more dark
Smell is bready with a hint of toast
Taste is sweet, bready, and very drinkable, not too unique but a perfectly fine beer.
Sidenote: I swear this used to have somewhat significant hops in it and evidently the recipe has changed as it's no longer "organic"

From 2012. Sweet, citrusy lightweight summer brew. Pour is uneventful, no head and light golden straw color. Good refresher for a hot day. Aroma and taste a bit weak.
